Section 404 Permitting

Section 404 of the Clean Water Act requires approval from the  U.S. Army Corps of Engineers prior to discharging  fill material into the waters of the United States.  Wetland Resources has vast experience preparing Section 404 Permit Applications for clients.  Because wetlands are a valuable component of our natural environment and because the permit and mitigation process can be time-consuming and expensive, we work with clients to look at design alternatives that would avoid wetland impacts on their project.  If avoiding all wetland impacts is impractical, we work with our clients to minimize the impacts to the extent possible.  This strategy has helped many of our clients avoid having to obtain a permit from the Corps of Engineers, and expedited the permit process for others due to minimal impacts to the wetland resources.
